OUR STORY

It all began in 2012

After a painful divorce, when Jasmine experienced a powerful touch from Jesus that healed her from the shame, trauma, and stigma of being sex trafficked. That moment marked the beginning of a new mission—one rooted in hope, redemption, and a desire to help other women find freedom too.

Compelled to make a difference, Jasmine began serving in the local New England anti-trafficking movement. She worked as a survivor mentor for girls under 18, facilitated recovery groups, and began publicly sharing her story of survival. Wanting to reach women still trapped in the life she once lived, Jasmine took to the streets with Bags of Hope—simple gift bags filled with hygiene items and love. What started as an act of compassion quickly grew into a calling.

She raised her own support as a missionary and never stopped going—whether it was the streets, jails, churches, detox centers, conferences, or even the United Nations, Jasmine boldly shared her story wherever she was invited. In time, she published a powerful book drawn from her personal diary entries written during the darkest seasons of trafficking and addiction.

From the very beginning, Jasmine dreamed of opening a home for the women she reached through outreach. God brought Anita alongside her—an incredible support who helped organize Bags of Hope, facilitated groups, handled admin tasks, and became a trusted friend and partner in the mission.

Jasmine’s journey has always been marked by a deep commitment to seeking Jesus, moving slowly, and learning to wait on His timing. Through continued healing, recovery, and forgiveness, she was even able to reconcile with her husband, Keith. They remarried and now have a blended family with five children. Life was full—between homeschooling, remodeling their home in New Hampshire, and continuing the ministry.

Then, in 2022, everything changed.

A private couple approached the ministry after purchasing a 17-bedroom home on 15 acres in New Hampshire—a former retreat center owned by Catholic nuns who had recently retired. The couple was looking to partner with a local ministry serving women, or women and children. After a series of interviews, Beauty from Ashes Ministry was chosen to occupy the property. The agreement? A symbolic $1/month in rent. The ministry would cover taxes and utilities.

It was a big step of faith—but Keith and Jasmine said yes.

Since then, the home has come alive. We’ve welcomed our first residents, assembled a dedicated and compassionate staff, and even added chickens to the family. Living Hope Farms (LHF) is now a place of healing, restoration, and new beginnings.

Our story is still being written, but we are confident of this: God is not done yet. The work He began, He is faithful to complete—and we are honored to be part of it.
